Beliefs

God

The Trinity

We believe that their is one God and three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; as confessed in the Apostle’s and Nicene Creeds.

Sin

From Adam to Today

Mankind has been sinful and deserving of death ever since Adam fell into sin in the Garden of Eden. “Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.” Romans 5:12

Jesus

The Son of God

Jesus is the incarnate Word of God who died on the cross for all the world. “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God’s Word

How We are Saved

The Holy Spirit now works when and where He wills through the proclamation of the Gospel to create faith in us. “The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” John 14:26

Baptism

Life in Christ

“All of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have were baptized into His death. We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:3-4

The Church

The Body of Christ

As baptized members of Christ we now love God and love our neighbor, just as Christ did. But this does not mean we are sinless. Rather, we confess that we who are in Christ live daily lives of repentance, turning from the sin we have done, receiving forgiveness daily, and striving to live under Christ.
